Now why would aliens have set this series of events in motion? Well I have a couple of ideas about that, but I don't want to get your hopes up or mine. Suffice it to say, there are greater things at work here than anyone realizes. Of course when a green man says he's an alien from outer space, what would be your first reaction?

I had to look that up, but I see what you're getting at. It's quite easy to imagine the voice of Tommy Pickles doing Erika. I can't really imagine what Erika would sound like, but that's a pretty good guess.
